About the Artist

Abigail Alice is an accomplished artist and architect whose passion for architecture and storytelling has been a lifelong journey. From an early age, she spent countless hours sketching on the back of building plans she obtained from her father’s office, nurturing a profound connection to both art and architecture.

Abigail earned her Bachelor’s, Honours, and Master’s degrees in Architecture with distinction from the University of Pretoria in South Africa. She further pursued academic excellence by obtaining a Master’s in Applied Science through a collaborative program with the Technische Universiteit Eindhoven in the Netherlands and the University of Pretoria.

After gaining valuable experience as an architect in Germany, Abigail returned to her roots and now practices as a Professional Architect in Pretoria, South Africa. Her artistic talent has garnered international recognition, with her architectural artworks featured in the New York-based magazine Architizer, where she was celebrated as one of the finalists for best freehand architectural sketching.

In 2018, Abigail began showcasing her creations online, quickly captivating a global audience and amassing a following of over 10,000 art enthusiasts. Her work resonates with viewers around the world, drawing them into the stories of the structures she portrays.

Driven by her love for South Africa and its rich architectural heritage, Abigail is dedicated to capturing the essence of buildings—its memories, sentiments, and unique beauty. Through her artistic endeavors, she seeks to preserve and share the cultural legacy that shapes the architectural landscape of her homeland.
